About Cindy-Lou Ramsay
Cindy - Lou Ramsay
has been a Senior Camera Operator at BBC Scotland since February 2000.
Her portfolio of work includes River City,
Whizz Whizz Bang Bang, T in the Park, 24/7 and BAFTA winning Raven, amongst many others.
Cindy - Lou's
first love still remains photography and is rarely seen without a camera in her hand.
She left school to study Photography & Audio Visual at Glasgow College of
Building and Printing. After graduating, she worked as a portrait
photographer at a Glasgow studio, then got her big break into television
with Scottish Television as a Camera Operator.
During her 4 years there, she filmed programmes such as High Road,
Wheel of Fortune and Fun House.
Although surrounded by technology, Cindy-Lou continues to use the same film camera
she bought in her first year at college, a Nikon FE, which is even older than she is!
Given the chance, she prefers spending a day printing in the darkroom to half an hour in
front of the computer and believes you can't beat a good black & white photograph!
Over the years, Cindy-Lou has done a great deal
of travelling, through work and pleasure, and has enjoyed capturing the places
she has visited on film. She believes Scotland is one of the most beautiful
countries in the world, and strives to illustrate this with her photographs.
In November 2009 Cindy-Lou directed a music video featuring former Scotland goal keeper Alan
Rough, in aid of CHAS (Children's Hospice Association Scotland).
Photographs from the shoot can be seen

She hopes you will enjoy the results......
